Application for a variation of a Premises Licence to Waitrose, Green Lane, Northwood. Additional documents: Minutes: This was an application for the variation of a premises licence in respect of Waitrose, Green Lane, Northwood, HA6 2XW to extend the hours for the sale of alcohol, recorded music and changed opening hours from 08.00 to 07.00 hours every day.
Decision: The Sub-Committee had considered the application and taken into account evidence and submissions from all of the parties. In reaching its decision the Sub-Committee had taken into account the relevant provisions of the Licensing Act 2003, the Secretary of State’s Guidance issued under the Act and the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy. The Sub-committee had also taken into account its overriding duty to promote the Licensing Objectives.
The Sub-Committee decided to grant the license variation. The Sub-Committee had arrived at this decision for the following main reason: The licence variation would not undermine the four licensing objectives.
No decision made by the Council would have effect during the time period within which an appeal may be brought and until such time that any appeal had been determined or abandoned.
