Consideration of the report from the Council's Licensing Officer Minutes: This was an application for the grant of a Premises License for the sale of alcohol; regulated entertainment was the provision of recorded music at the Punjabi Spice, 292 Kingshill Avenue, Hayes.
DECISION
The Sub-Committee had considered all the relevant evidence made available to it and in doing so has taken into account the Licensing Act 2003, the Guidance issued by the Secretary of State under Section 182 of the Act, the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy and Licensing objectives. The Council has also taken note of recent Court Rulings requiring that where conditions are to be imposed the same should be discussed with the license holder.
Resolved – That the Sub-Committee has decided, on the balance of probabilities to reject the application for a premises licence for the Punjabi Spice, Kingshill Avenue, Hayes.
