Minutes:

Councillor Jan Sweeting attended the meeting as a substitute for a Labour Group vacancy on the Committee.

Declarations of Interest in Matters coming before this meeting

Minutes:

Mr Tony Little and other Members present declared their non-pecuniary interests as School Governor in relation to the Cabinet’s decisions regarding schools and remained in the room during discussion on the item.

The minutes of the meetings held were agreed and confirmed as a correct record.

Exclusion of Press and Public

To confirm that the items of business marked Part I will be considered in public and that the items marked Part II will be considered in private.

Items were agreed to be considered in public and private as per their status on the Cabinet agenda.

The purpose of this meeting is to decide whether to refer back any decision to the decision maker.

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the Cabinet reports of 24 July 2014 and after careful consideration Members decided not to call-in any decision made by the Cabinet at their meeting, held earlier in the evening.

 

RESOLVED –

 

That the decisions made by the Cabinet at their meeting on 24 July 2014 be endorsed and that no call-in be made of any decision.
