The purpose of this meeting is to decide whether to refer back any decision to the decision maker. Minutes: Members gave consideration to the Cabinet reports of 20 November 2014. Following discussions on a range of matters, the Committee agreed further information requests on selected items in the Budget Monitoring report and one specific query in relation to a private report on 1,2 Merrimans.
In discussing the report on the Accessibility of the London Underground and Rail Stations in Hillingdon, the Committee asked for it to be noted that whilst it wholeheartedly welcomed the Cabinet's decision to bid for step-free improvements to three of the Borough's underground stations, that additional consideration may be merited for Hatton Cross Station, just within the Borough boundary, for any second bid to Transport for London, or in any relevant discussions with the neighbouring London Borough of Hounslow on the matter.
After careful consideration, the Committee decided not to call-in any decision made by the Cabinet at their meeting, held earlier in the evening.
RESOLVED –
That:
1. The decisions made by the Cabinet at their meeting on 20 November 2014 be endorsed and that no call-in be made of any decision.
2. Further information is provided on those matters agreed by the Committee.
