Apologies were received from Councillor Mo Khursheed, who was duly substituted by Councillor Beulah East.

Declarations of Interest in Matters coming before this meeting

Minutes:

Mr Little declared a non-pecuniary interest as Governor of Harlington School in relation to the Cabinet decision on a Deed of Variation of a Lease in relation to the School and remained in the room during discussion and vote on the item.

The minutes of the meeting held on 21 January 2016 were agreed and confirmed as a correct record.

Exclusion of Press and Public

To confirm that the items of business marked Part I will be considered in public and that the items marked Part II will be considered in private.   

Minutes:

Items were agreed to be considered in public and private as per their status on the Cabinet agenda and Cabinet's decisions on the night. It was noted that the item on Hillingdon's response to LB Hounslow's 'West of Borough Plan' Issues Consultation had been withdrawn and would be dealt with by way of an Individual Cabinet Member decision.

To hear the Call-In of any decisions made at the Cabinet meeting prior to this meeting or made by Cabinet Members, other Council Committees or a delegated officer and published within five working days of this meeting.

 

Members should bring their Cabinet agenda to the meeting.

 

Members should consider any other decision published in the five working days before this meeting.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to decide whether to refer back any decision to the decision maker.

Minutes:

Members present were reminded that the decisions of the Cabinet in relation to the Council's Budget for 2016/17 could not be called-in. Members noted that the budget had received input during January from the Policy Overview Committees and agreed to refrain further comment on it until the 25 February 2016 Council meeting.

 

After careful consideration of the remaining matters, the Committee decided not to call-in any decision made by the Cabinet at their meeting, held earlier in the evening.

 

RESOLVED: –

 

That the decisions made by the Cabinet at their meeting on 18 February 2016 be endorsed and that no call-in be made of any decision.
