An apology for absence was received from Mr Little.

No interests were declared.

The minutes of the meetings held on 12 & 19 May 2016 were confirmed as a correct record.

To confirm that the items of business marked Part I will be considered in public and that the items marked Part II will be considered in private.

Items were agreed to be considered in public and private as per their status on the Cabinet agenda and cabinet's decisions on the night.

To hear the Call-In of any decisions made at the Cabinet meeting prior to this meeting or made by Cabinet Members, other Council Committees or a delegated officer and published within five working days of this meeting.

Members should bring their Cabinet agenda to the meeting.

Members should consider any other decision published in the five working days before this meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to decide whether to refer back any decision to the decision maker.

Members sought clarification on the following items on the Cabinet agenda:

i) Item 6, Better Care Fund Plan Section 57 Agreement: - relating to Page 57 of the report in the Cabinet agenda, 1.15 (b) - the committee enquired what percentage of users of Adult Social Care was being sought (through survey) to have found it easy to access the information referred to. How long had the survey been running, had there been previous surveys to benchmark against and what was the measure of improvement being sought?

ii) Item 8, Council Budget - relating to page 162, paragraph 30 - the Committee requested more information on the nature of the planned initiatives referred to in this paragraph for managing down the reported pressure on the budget for Looked After Children.
