Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the Cabinet reports of the 20 June 2019 meeting and the decisions made by Cabinet on them earlier that evening.

On the Budget Outturn report, noting that current users will be unaffected by the slightly adjusted fee for Meals on Wheels, Members requested details of the previous fee and confirmation on whether any subsidy will continue under the new arrangements.

In relation to the acceptance by Cabinet of the additional Special Provision Fund capital grant of £1,356k, Members sought clarification on what this capital grant would be used for in relation to particular education provision.

On Appendix G, listing agency staff authorisations, Members sought clarification on one assignment and it was suggested that individual Members might wish to raise the broader recruitment efforts in social care at the relevant Policy Overview Committee.

On the Quarterly Planning Obligations report, Members sought a view on whether updates on the Community Infrastructure Levy could also be provided going forward, noting this would need to be considered by the Head of Planning and Cabinet Member.

RESOLVED: – That the decisions made by the Cabinet at their meeting on 20 June 2019 be endorsed and that no call-in be made.
