Members should consider any other decision taken by a Cabinet Member(s) or key decision taken by an Officer published in the five working days before this meeting.

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the Cabinet reports of the 13 February 2020 meeting and the decisions made by Cabinet on them earlier that evening.

The Committee sought clarification on a number of points within the budget monitoring report, including the vacant posts in Youth Services, an explanation of the £400k grant received for vulnerable children, more details of the overspend and underspend in the Provider and Commissioned Care Service along with plans to increase capacity and places for children with SEND.

On the 2020/21 budget report, recommended to Council, whilst the Committee noted that Cabinet’s decisions could not be called-in, it sought clarification on the transfer of funding for two posts covering early intervention and support to the Dedicated Schools Grant.

On the Schools Budget, the Committee requested a copy of the recent minutes of the Schools Forum for background information.

RESOLVED: – That the remaining decisions made by the Cabinet at their meeting on 13 February 2020 be endorsed and that no call-in be made.
