Safe Crossing at Beaconsfield Road, Hayes

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to There isn't a crossing at the moment at Beaconsfield Road, off Springfield Road. This road consists of three schools (two primary and one secondary: Nanaksar Primary, Guru Nanak Sikh Primary School and Guru Nanak Sikh Secondary). This consists of roughly 1,500 students and not forgetting parents who drop them and pick them up. I request that you consider a safe crossing for the safety of our children, because this is in the middle of an industrial estate where there is constant movement of HGVs, vans and vehicles used by people working there.

This is a place where an accident is waiting to happen as this is a major safety issue, according to me.

Please review the situation and take action accordingly.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
