Maintain Minet Country Parking

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to re-surface and maintain Minet Country Parking. This parking is used on daily basis by hundreds of parents dropping their children to three schools. There isn't an alternative place that the parents can park and the condition of this parking is in a very bad state. I am not even sure how many cars this has damaged and it may result in injuries due to the state of this parking. There are about 1,500 students attending these schools so in order to avoid damage to cars, some parents park on yellow lines to drop-off children. If this parking is re-surfaced then parents have no reason to avoid parking here. This will also increase our pupils' safety.

This work can be combined with another petition that I have raised to get a safe crossing to safe cost, if required.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
