Calisthenics Bar/ Exercise Park in Hayes

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Create a Bar park in Hayes that is functional for body weight training. Encourperating and encouraging healthy living and functional strength. The park would merely need to consist of: - monkey bars - horizontal bars at various heights - dip bars - a strong rope to climb - a high bar to attach gymnastic ropes to. There are a fee places perfect for this such as the park behind Dorchester Waye as well as minite country park which is full of unused ground.

Hayes doesnt have a sufficent outdoor exercise park within radius where there are bars.
Bar parks are inexpensive and very functional for the youth and older community to practice and develop strength and fitness levels.
This park would support the community and encourage and interest in body weight training which is free for low income individuals who cannot afford a gym membership.
It also gets young people involved in a gymnastic style training at a young age reducing the risks of stiffness and arthritis in the future.

Many playgrounds exist for the youth but nothing for young adults.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
