Blyth Road Traffic Calming Measures

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to conduct a thorough review to identify the most appropriate traffic calming measures on Blyth Road, followed by the installation of identified measures.

It is not uncommon for vehicles to travel at excessive speeds on Blyth Road during all hours of the day. Not only is this disruptive, but it puts the lives of residents and visitors at risk. With the Global Academy college, increasing commercial offerings and hundreds of new homes being developed on The Old Vinyl Factory site, the population of this small corner of Hayes is growing daily and this issue is only going to become more serious over time.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
