Rockingham Road Traffic Calming Measures

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to conduct a thorough review to identify the most appropriate traffic calming measures on Rockingham Road, followed by the installation of identified measures.

It is mostly to calm traffic on the stretch between Rockingham Parade and Bransfield Place.
Due to very narrow pavement by The Original Lahore restaurant, it is extremely dangerous to walk and cross the street at peak hours, plus there is St Mary's Primary school on one side, with children walking down those pavements every day to and from school. It is also very common for vehicles to travel at excessive speeds on the part of Rockingham Road between two bridges during all hours of the day. It puts the lives of residents and visitors at risk.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
