Traffic calming measures on Nestles Avenue, Hayes, Middlesex

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to put in place the following safety measures to calm speeding drivers on Nestles Avenue, Hayes, Middlesex: - implementation of a 20mph zone - installation of speed bumps

Drivers speeding (up to 50mph) along Nestles Avenue has increased risk of injury/death for pedestrians and home owners.

The lack of traffic calming measures also encourages aggressive tailgating, leading to emotional distress for local homeowners.

Noise pollution is also a huge concern, with drivers of performance vehicles using the road to speed test their cars.

Implementing a 20mph zone is essential to improve safety and maintain quality of life for local residents.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
