Laminate Planning Permission Site Notices So Can Be Read Flat & Add QR Scan Codes

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to We request that all Hillingdon Council Planning Permission Application Site Notices should be A4 laminated to protect them against weathering and to allow them to be read as flat as possible (rather than wrapped around a post). This will make it easier for all to read especially those with poor or compromised vision. Also that the notices should have a unique QR Code linking them quickly to the appropriate part of the Hillingdon Council Planning Department website via mobile phones.

I have compromised vision and have struggled for years to be able to read important planning site notices when wrapped around a post and anchored down with clear tape. The tape distorts the view of the text benearth

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
