Objection to the proposed development of 28B Kingsend (73975/APP/2020/3392)

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to reject the proposed application to replace the existing single detached house at 28B Kingsend, Ruislip with a block of flats.

We the undersigned wish to strongly object to this proposal development which aims to decapitate two semi detached bungalows and add 2 x 3 bedrooms apartments on top with associated extensive roof structures. Other objections include:
Due to its unsuitable location and close proximity of boundaries to adjourning properties surrounding it will be; visually intrusive, overbearing & overshadowing.
It will be detrimental to the overall character appearance of the immediate area.
It will have an adverse effect to the residential amenities currently enjoyed by neighbours.
We have concerns of the poor access to the site.
Finally, this proposed development will not enhance or conserve the overall character of our neighbourhood and this part of the conservation area.

On reaching 20 signatures it may be considered in conjunction with the relevant live planning application at an upcoming Committee meeting. The Council's Democratic Services Team will be in touch with the lead petitioner to advise and take this petition forward accordingly.
