Traffic calming measures on Hallowell Road

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to consider traffic calming measures on Hallowell Road, notably the section between Roy Road and the High Street, to prevent the speeding and volume of cars using the road. This road is used as a rat run and as such the drivers have no regard for the safety or convenience of local residents.

Residents are concerned about pulling in or out of their private drives safely, and the safety of their families and neighbours. Traffic calming measures will dramatically improve the safety of the road and the lives of the local residents.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
