Closure of Hillingdon Council's Early Years Centres

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to reverse their decision to close their Early Years Centres

Hillingdon Council have taken the rash decision to close their Early Years Centres located at Nestles Avenue, South Ruislip and Uxbridge. These centres have been a fabric of the community, providing good quality childcare, support and value for money. It therefore can only negatively impact Hillingdon's families and the local community. As a local authority, we would expect that any decision especially as drastic as closing childcare provision, would be considered carefully, providing ample notice and consulting those affected. Unfortunately this has not happened. In any case, we find that the decision to close the Early Years Centres is wrong and ask that it be reversed,

On reaching 100 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
