Application for a Review of a Premises Licence - Lotus Wines, 761 Uxbridge Road, Hayes, UB4 8HY Minutes: Introduction by Licensing Officer
Ian Meens, Licensing Officer at LBH, introduced the report relating to the application for the review of a Premises Licence. Representations had been made against the application by the Metropolitan Police Service.
This item is included in Part II as it contains information relating to an action taken or to be taken in connection with the prevention, investigation or prosecution of crime and the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it (exempt information under paragraphs 1, 3 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government [Access to Information] Act 1985 as amended.
The Decision
Resolved: That:
The Sub-Committee had considered all the relevant representations made available to it and in doing so has taken into account the Licensing Act 2003, the Guidance issued by the Secretary of State under Section 182 of that Act, the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy and the Licensing objectives. The Sub-Committee had paid particular attention to S144 of the Licensing Act 2003 read together with Paragraph 11.27 of the S182 Guidance issued by the Secretary of State. The Licensing Sub-Committee had determined that it was necessary and appropriate to revoke the premises licence for Lotus Wines. |
