Single yellow line, Packet Boat Lane

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to put a yellow line at the end of Packet Boat Lane before Old Mill Lane

For many years vehicles have been dumped along this road, they are being vandalised and even set on fire, it is also causing people to fly tip there. Heavy goods vehicles use this road daily, they are often unable to fit down the road due to the parked (mostly abandoned vehicles) this is causing them to drive on the grass verge on the opposite side of the road and churn up the mud which then blocks the soak away drains and the road ends up flooded for days even weeks on end which is causing damage to a private wall. When It is flooded it the road is unusable to anyone on foot that might be visiting the lake or near by canal walks.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.

This ePetition runs from 14/03/2025 to 14/04/2025.
