Petition for the use of resident parking permits on Newdigate Road

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Enforce a permit system for the benefit of the residents of Newdigate Road.

It has become increasingly apparent that the road is experiencing considerable misuse, largely due to office workers from Park Place, visitors to Harefield Hospital and individuals choosing to park on the street instead of using their driveways. This has resulted in a lack of available parking for residents and ongoing frustration in the neighbourhood. As most homes on Newdigate Road do not have driveways, a permit system would be extremely helpful in ensuring fair access to parking for residents. The proposal is to allocate two permits per house without a driveway, and one permit per house with a driveway, should they need more space. We believe this would help alleviate the congestion and make parking much more manageable for everyone living in the area.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.

This ePetition runs from 02/04/2026 to 02/05/2026.
