Objection to building 8 flats at 47 Fairfield Road, Uxbridge (Ref: 21763/APP/2023/3040)

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to reject the application for demolishing a detached house and building 8 dwellings with very small number of parking spaces. The increase in the number of flats will be hazardous to traffic and to children crossing the road on their way to Hermitage school. The huge increase in building volume including 2 flats in the basement is unprecedented in Uxbridge and should not be allowed.

The applicant was allowed to build six flats before but they seem to have applied again with an ambition to maximise number of flats and increase profit.

On reaching 20 signatures it may be considered in conjunction with the relevant live planning application at an upcoming Committee meeting. The Council's Democratic Services Team will be in touch with the lead petitioner to advise and take this petition forward accordingly.
