Traffic calming required with immediate effect on BOURNE AVENUE

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Take immediate action on BOURNE AVENUE, HAYES to implement traffic calming measures as there is a severe uplift in drivers driving at ridiculous speeds and has increased risk for pedestrians trying to cross the road. For home owners there is increased noise during the night with speeding vehicles and damage to parked vehicles on the road with instances happening recently. Currently, there are cars and motorcyclists speeding at enormous speeds along the road.

We the residents are very disturbed by these speeding vehicles and cannot sleep at night and also find it very unsafe to cross the road.

Immediate actions needs to be taken as this is a residential road with many young kids and elders on the pavements.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
