Change HH parking times

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Extend the HH parking restriction times around Rosemary Close UB8 3QA to 08:00-17:00 instead of 09:00-17:00. In order for parking attendants to police the illegal parking of parents dropping children to Colham Manor School. The residents pay to park outside our homes and these parents block the street and park illegally in the street or designated bays outside our homes.

I have created a petition on change.org and will present that as well as hopefully get support from the community at least in my area about this horrific and dangerous issue. I have already been in substantial contact with the parking teams and Apcoa and you finally agreed to police the area in the afternoons at pick up time and this has helped considerably- now we need to move the times so that the wardens can also police in the mornings and I will fight for that also.

I have had to ask on over 50 occasions for these illegally parked parents to leave my disabled bay so that I can park outside my own home- these people do not have blue badges- they just don’t want to walk their kids to school.

I scared that either my car will be vandalised or I may be attacked.

I have approached the school numerous times and encouraged them to come up with a solution, their school, their kids, their parents, their issue….. they want to do nothing, they have no care about their community.

We pay to park in this HH zone, these parents don’t, so they should be policed by the wardens and hopefully real change can happen to these inconsiderate people.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
