Controlled parking on Hallowell Road

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to install controlled parking measures on Hallowell Road between the junction with Roy Road and the junction with the Old High Street.

This is a narrow section of the road which is used daily by commuters to avoid the car parking fees at Northwood Station. Double-parked vehicles and inconsiderate parking are creating significant difficulties for residents trying to access or exit their driveways. The reduced visibility and limited space for manoeuvring make the situation extremely hazardous for residents. Introducing controlled parking—such as yellow lines or residents’ parking bays that restrict parking at certain times of the day—would greatly alleviate this problem

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.

This ePetition runs from 06/02/2026 to 06/03/2026.
