Make Crescent Parade, Long Lane, a one-way road

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Make Crescent Parade, on the junction of Long Lane/ Uxbridge Road, follow a one-way system to address parking issues and congestion. It should be one way from inside Long Lane and come out to the main road and loop back in from inside like how it is done on Hillingdon Circus and have cameras on it.

Residents agree that this needs to be done ASAP as the whole of Long Lane is a free parking on the service lane, no traffic wardens and no respect for double yellow, single yellow or any sort of line. People block all the shops up till the corners. Speed lines on Long Lane would be a good thing as well being so busy.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.

This ePetition runs from 26/02/2026 to 26/03/2026.
