That the Cabinet:

 

1)    Accept the tender from TSG Building Services PLC for the provision of the Planned Replacement of Domestic Boilers and Associated Works within Housing Properties contract to the London Borough of Hillingdon for a period of 3 years.

 

2)    Furthermore, note the option of a further 1 year of the contract (with a total estimated value of £11,000k over the 4 years), delegating authority to extend the contract to the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport, in consultation with the Corporate Director of Place.

Reasons for decision

 

Cabinet approved a contract for the planned replacement of boilers in Council housing that were reaching the end of their life with the installation of new high efficiency units. The Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport welcomed the investment in the housing stock and the benefits it would also provide to tenants.
