16 and 18 Kingsend, Ruislip - 63221/APP/2012/878 Conversion of 2 x existing dwellings to create 6 x 2-bed and 2 x 1-bed self contained flats with associated parking and amenity space involving part two storey, part single storey rear extensions, single storey side extensions, single storey infill extension to make central link, conversion of roof space to habitable use to include a rear dormer, 2 rear rooflights and 4 side rooflights, installation of photovoltaic panels to side, alterations to roof and installation of vehicular crossover.
Recommendation: Refusal

In discussing the application, the Committee agreed that the proposal would be detrimental to character of the area and the rear extensions proposed to each dwelling would fail to harmonise the existing dwelling. The recommendation for refusal was moved, seconded and on being put to the vote was unanimously agreed.
Resolved –
That the application be refused as per the officer report.

Resolved –
1. That the enforcement actions as recommended in the officer’s report be agreed.
2. That the Committee resolve to release their decision and the reasons for it outlined in this report into the public domain, solely for the purposes of issuing the formal breach of condition notice to the individual concerned.
