PDF 1 MB Minutes: TESCO, CHANTRY LANE, YIEWSLEY This was an application for a new premises licence to permit the sale of alcohol at the above premises. DECISION The Sub-Committee considered all the relevant evidence made available to it, and in doing so, had taken into account the Licensing Act 2003, the Guidance issued by the Secretary of State under Section 182 of the Act, the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy and Licensing objectives. The Sub-Committee also followed recent Court Rulings requiring that where conditions were to be imposed, the same should be discussed with the license holder. Resolved The Sub-Committee decided, on the balance of probabilities to grant the application as applied for, subject to the following additional condition: 1. The premise shall be licensed for the sale of alcohol (off sales only) between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday to Friday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
