Annual Fees Suspension Report Additional documents: Minutes: The Council’s Licensing Manager introduced the report and highlighted to Members that several of the annual licence fees had now been paid. The Licensing Manager distributed to Members an updated list of all those premises which had not paid the fees.
It was noted that all the premises had at least 3 months notice to pay the fee and had been sent reminders for this payment.
Members agreed that the licenses for those on the schedule were to be suspended due to non-payment of the annual licence fee. It was noted that a letter would be sent to the premises to state this and the decision would come into effect from 2 working days of the letter being received.
Members asked the Licensing Manager to highlight the sub-committee’s decision to suspend the licences of all those that failed to pay in the local newspaper.
Resolved:
That the Licensing Sub Committee suspend the licences as per the amended schedule of non-payment of annual licence fees.
