Matters that have been notified in advance or urgent Minutes: The Committee was informed that shortly before the meeting, officers received a phone call from the applicants advising that they would be unable to attend. The agent for the applicants had previously notified officers that he would be unable to attend.

PDF 3 MB Minutes: The Legal Advisor confirmed that if the Committee were so minded, they could proceed in the absence of the applicant or the applicant's representative. Alternatively, the Committee could decide to adjourn the meeting to a later date to allow the applicant or their representative an opportunity to present their evidence in person. The Committee agreed to adjourn the meeting, though suggested that officers make it clear to the applicant that, if they failed to attend the next meeting, the application would be determined in their absence. RESOLVED: That the meeting be adjourned to a later date to provide the opportunity for the applicant or agent to attend.
