Speed reduction / speed humps on Sipson Way

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to reduce speed limit on Sipson Way to 20 mph and introduce speed humps

The road speed limit in Sipson Way Heathrow Villages is unacceptable.

Sipson Road is a main road and is limited to 20mph!

Sipson Way is a small residential road with an unsighted bend right outside a recreation ground and children's park and is currently rated at 30mph.

The cars are driving on this road like it is a racetrack on the blind bend, with the tires screeching as they must come to a quick stop.

An accident involving a head-on collision, or the serious fall of a child is only a matter of time.

We request that a 20mph limit is set in place and speed reduction humps installed

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
