Traffic calming measures - Cornwall Road, Ruislip Manor

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to install traffic calming measures such as additional traffic islands, speed bumps or reduce the speed to a 20mph zone with installation of speed cameras.

The residents of Cornwall Road have noticed an increase in the speed of vehicles travelling through the road at all hours which is very dangerous for residents and children.

Additionally, given the close proximity of many schools it is of upmost importance we protect our society. Vehicles are driving through the road at dangerous speeds which makes it difficult for residents to come out of their driveway. Therefore we are requesting traffic calming measures to be put in place.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
