Visibility issues on Harold Avenue

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Further parking restrictions to be considered at North Hyde road near the Harold Avenue junction, and high visibility traffic mirror on Nestle Avenue near the Harold Avenue junction, to improve visibility to cars exiting the road.

There is almost no visibility of oncoming traffic as you exit Harold Avenue onto North Hyde road, especially if a van is parked. This could result in serious car accidents.

Similarly visibility is restricted from Harold Avenue as you go onto Nestle Avenue due to a home's hedge and also cars who seem to often cut that corner without realising cars will come out of Harold Avenue. A visibility mirror on the opposite side of Nestle Avenue could help drivers with visibility.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
