FORMER NORTHWOOD POLICE STATION, 2 MURRAY ROAD, NORTHWOOD

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Refuse planning consent to change the use to a Children's Nursery, and Listed Building Consent for an external extension. Application numbers: 46639/APP/2024/2058 and 46639/APP/2024/2059

This is the wrong location for such an intensive use.

The proposed use will generate a significant increase of traffic given the number of children and staff. The traffic management plan accepts a significant amount of traffic, and given the traffic already in Northwood and the building located at one of the busiest junctions in Northwood given the access/ egress to/ from the Waitrose car park and access to/ from the Waitrose Service Yard, and traffic from the local Schools, this would lead to significant increased traffic stress and pollution.

It is a Grade 2 Listed Building and we object to the proposed alterations and in particular the external extension works and other external alterations.

On reaching 20 signatures it may be considered in conjunction with the relevant live planning application at an upcoming Committee meeting. The Council's Democratic Services Team will be in touch with the lead petitioner to advise and take this petition forward accordingly.
