Stop people speeding up and down Southbourne Gardens

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to look at the parking situation on Southbourne Gardens, and put in something to slow traffic down near Dollis Crescent as there have been several accidents, including overturned cars traffic islands smashed down and flooded properties.

Having lived in Southbourne Gardens for 30 years we have noticed that the road is becoming far too busy. The parking bays and the bus route all clash with each other and at night people are speeding up to 90 miles an hour up and down the road. Our cat was nearly killed here.
Someone needs to restore order here. It needs speed bumps or cameras, especially when it rains as drivers speed through the huge puddle, where the road floods outside number 70 Southbourne Gardens, with no thought for peoples' properties which flood regularly.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
