Request for Double Yellow Lines at Entrance/Exit of Baxter Close, Uxbridge

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to request double yellow lines at the entrance/exit of Baxter Close, UB10.

Baxter Close is not a very wide road therefore people park most of the car on the pavement. Of late, cars/large vans are being parked mostly on the road on both sides, which is dangerous when turning into Baxter Close. This issue has become such a problem that our bin men were unable to drive down into Baxter Close on Thursday 1st March because of vehicles parked mostly on the road, therefore making it impossible for the bin lorry to pass. If the emergency services needed to get into Baxter Close they would have been unable to, and this is quite a worrying situation.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
