Petition against Development of 3 Houses at 5/6 Firs Walk (30837/APP/2020/1723)

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to Reject the Application.

Third application for this site in 24 months with little difference to previous application.

Proposed development out of character with the local area that is characterised by generous plots, mature gardens and old trees.

Bulk of development demonstrated by crown roofs and amplified by uniformity of three houses.

Garden development is against Council’s policy (“garden grabbing”).

Site does not enjoy any rights for the proposed “cross-over” from the end of Foxdell.

Loss of amenity for existing houses through significant increase in traffic resulting in noise and pollution, lights issues, loss of privacy, loss of greenery.

Severe safety concerns over additional traffic within narrow Dene Road (no pavements) and narrow Foxdell through additional residents and construction traffic.

On reaching 20 signatures it may be considered in conjunction with the relevant live planning application at an upcoming Committee meeting. The Council's Democratic Services Team will be in touch with the lead petitioner to advise and take this petition forward accordingly.
