Extend the Kings College Skatepark on Kings College Road, Ruislip

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to make improvements to the Kings College Skatepark in Ruislip.

kings college has been a very good skatepark for a long time but unfortunately it has been vandalized over the years and also the kings collage community such as BMX's, scooters , skateboarders would like to upgrade the skateparks so that people could progress more and maybe turn it into a career such as going to the Olympics or going to the national championship's and being part of team GB.

This skatepark project would also attract people from around London and outside London to come and visit Hillingdon and visit the skatepark. It will also influence the younger generation to go outdoors and get them into the sport of skateboarding and make them part of the community. There are certain things as part of the king college community we would like to add such as a street section a big bowl a vertical ramp and a mini ramp and lights for the skatepark when it is dark. It would mean the world to us as a community . I would be grateful if you could consider my proposition.

Many thanks.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
