Speeding Drivers - Bourne Avenue, Hayes

We the undersigned petition Hillingdon Council to implement a 20 mph speed limit throughout Bourne Avenue with signs posted to stop regular speeding drivers.

Over the years, Bourne Avenue has become increasingly treacherous.

Below, lists the causes of concern:

Vehicles are seen speeding everyday on a 30mph road that has a parade of shops towards the end of the road. Cars have been seen speeding anywhere from approximately 40-80 mph on a regular basis, which is particularly dangerous to the general public, children and elderly people. This issue HAS to be resolved.

On reaching 20 signatures it will be formally considered by the Council and relevant Cabinet Member. Local ward Councillors will also be made aware of the petition. The Council's Democratic Services Team will keep the lead petitioner updated on progress.
